Assist senior stylists with hair styling, coloring, and finishing techniques using industry-standard tools and products Learn and apply sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic salon environment Engage with clients to understand their needs, offering personalized recommendations for haircuts, color treatments, and retail products Support retail sales through upselling and product knowledge to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling via salon software such as MINDBODY, greeting clients warmly, and handling inquiries Gain experience in specialized services like hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair threading under supervision Participate in mentoring sessions to develop communication skills, technical expertise, and store management knowledge Passion for the beauty industry with a desire to learn new skills such as hair styling, barbering, or makeup application Basic understanding of color theory, sanitation practices, and customer service principles Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and team members Previous experience or training in cosmetology or barbering is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential Familiarity with salon software systems like MINDBODY or similar platforms is advantageous Ability to handle retail math for upselling products effectively Willingness to participate in mentoring programs and ongoing training opportunities This apprenticeship is perfect for motivated individuals eager to launch their career in beauty.
