The salon assistant must be friendly, a team player and have an eagerness to learn. Responsibilities Assist Salon Owner with clients and task Shampoo, and prep clients for the salon owner Wash, dry and fold towels Must be able to braid Maintain a clean environment by helping clean the salon throughout the day Monitor stock of beauty products and refill supplies as needed Shadow salon owner when learning new task Skills Work experience as a Salon Assistant or similar role in the beauty industry Must know how to braid Must be able to multitask Able to adjust to different environments Additional certification in Cosmetology or relevant field is a plus
