Responsibilities Provide professional hair braiding services, including intricate styles, extensions, and hair threading, tailored to each client's preferences. Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace in compliance with health and safety standards, including sanitation of tools such as straight razors and other styling equipment. for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking. Offer expert consultations on hair care, color theory, and styling options to ensure client satisfaction. Upsell retail products such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup items, and nail care products to enhance client experience and salon revenue. Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling inquiries professionally. Mentor junior stylists or apprentices when applicable, sharing techniques in hair styling, coloring, and sanitation best practices. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and braiding techniques. Proficiency in hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Familiarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and retail transactions. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members. Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
