The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Cosmetology with expertise in various hair services including Hair Cutting, color theory, Lightening services and styling techniques. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients. As a Hairstylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing clients' beauty while ensuring their satisfaction through exceptional service. Duties Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, Highlighting, Coloring, and styling Utilize tools to achieve desired hairstyles while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Help Maintain clean and organized station/ salon and manage salon software, specifically for scheduling appointments and processing transactions. Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to recommend suitable hair colors and techniques for clients. Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized consultations. Promote retail products through effective upselling techniques while maintaining an understanding of retail math. Ensure compliance with sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Qualifications Valid cosmetology license is required. Some experience in hairstyling with a portfolio showcasing various styles and techniques. Proficiency in salon software systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction. Knowledge of sanitation practices within the salon environment is essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
