Hair Stylist - Boutique, Private Hair Loss Studio Confidence Beyond Hair Studio | Grand Haven, MI We are not a traditional salon—and we are not looking for a traditional stylist. Confidence Beyond Hair Studio is a private, by-appointment-only hair loss studio specializing in human hair and synthetic wigs, toppers, and personalized solutions for women experiencing hair loss. Our environment is calm, discreet, compassionate and deeply client-centered. We are looking for a stylist to take over all bio hair services (cuts, color, washes and styles for our clients no longer using their wigs and toppers), while also growing into a specialized role within the world of alternative hair. The position will begin as part-time with the potential to grow into full-time. We provide the clientele in a beautiful new space and all the tools, color, and products. You Are:

Someone who understands that hair is beyond beauty; it's identity, and offering your skillset to your clients is life-changing work A stylist who feels ready for something more meaningful- whether you are newly licensed and starting your career, experienced but looking for a change, or re-entering the field but not wanting to build a book of business from the ground up A stylist who is confident in cuts, color, and styling, but open to learning a new niche Someone skilled at your craft who loves one-on-one appointments (no double booking, no chaos) Someone driven and self-motivated who also values connection and compassion Someone with high levels of empathy, comfortable working with those going through health issues, and able to actively listen and anticipate client needs based on their unique stories and struggles Someone excited about joining an established team and is lit up by collaboration and creativity Someone who is not afraid to ask questions and jump into a variety of tasks required to run a small business

What You'll Be Doing:

Taking over all bio hair services (cuts, color, styling) Supporting clients who wear wigs and toppers with blending and maintenance Providing a calm, compassionate, and elevated experience (we also laugh a lot with our clients, too!) Educating clients on care and maintenance Assisting with and learning wig and topper consultations Assisting with and learning additional advanced hair replacement services, such as bonding Joining a team of women who care deeply about their day-to-day responsibilities and are committed to leaving our guests "better than when we found them"

Requirements:

Licensed Cosmetologist (Michigan) Strong foundation in cutting, coloring, and styling Open to learning and being coached in a niche sector of the beauty industry
