Hair Stylist

Overview Located on the west side of Bozeman, CZ Studio is a modern, elevated salon space designed for passionate, professional stylists. Our environment is clean, elegant, and client-focused. We're seeking a licensed Hair Stylist who brings both technical skill and a client-first attitude. Ideal candidates are business-minded, detail-oriented, and ready to create in a collaborative, low-drama environment. Duties Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, and special occasion styles Apply hair color using advanced techniques, understanding color theory to achieve desired results Install and customize hair extensions to enhance clients' looks and confidence (preferred but not required) Conduct hair treatments such as deep conditioning, scalp care, and keratin smoothing treatments Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to boost client satisfaction and salon revenue Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and equipment according to health regulations Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail management Assist in front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting store management when needed Requirements Valid cosmetology license with comprehensive knowledge of sanitation practices Proven experience in hair cutting, styling and coloring Familiarity with salon software systems for booking and client management Strong understanding of color theory, haircutting techniques, and current trends in hair fashion Experience with retail sales and upselling products to enhance client experience and store performance Excellent communication skills to connect with clients confidently and clearly explain services or product recommendations Ability to perform additional beauty services such as makeup application is a plus Join us if you're passionate about transforming looks while creating a luxury, client-focused experience.
