Job Summary Join this barbershop as a Barber or both barber/manager, where you will blend expert barbering skills with dynamic store leadership. We are an appointment barbershop using Squire, but welcome walk ins. Seeking licensed barbers with clientele that are looking to be in a calm /respectful shop. In the manager role, you will deliver exceptional grooming services while overseeing daily shop operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Your passion for hair cutting,customer service, and team mentoring will drive the success of our barbershop. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and leadership talent in a calm barbershop. Duties Perform a wide range of barbering services including haircuts, straight razor shaves, beard trims, and hair styling tailored to client preferences As a barber , there are shop rules to respect but overall you have control of your schedule. The manager will manage daily store operations including scheduling and informing customers if they lack barbershop information. Lead and mentor team members by providing coaching on hair cut techniques, retail sales strategies, and customer service excellence. Handle front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, managing appointments, and answering client inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety protocols in accordance with cosmetology and barbering regulations Skills Be able to cut well and a variety of styles. Expertise in barbering techniques including straight razor shaves, hair styling Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Excellent communication skills to connect with clients Mentoring skills to develop junior staff into skilled professionals in hair cuts and styling.
