Responsibilities Perform professional hair braiding services, including intricate styles such as box braids, cornrows, twists, and other popular braided looks. Consult with clients to understand their desired styles and provide expert recommendations based on hair type and current trends. Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, adhering strictly to sanitation standards for hair care and tools. Manage appointments efficiently using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms, ensuring smooth scheduling and client flow. Offer additional services like hair extensions, eyelash extensions, or hair threading to enhance client satisfaction and increase retail sales. Educate clients on proper hair care routines, product usage, and styling tips to promote healthy hair maintenance. Assist with front desk duties when needed, including greeting clients, managing retail sales, and upselling salon products like makeup or nail care items. Qualifications Proven experience in hair braiding techniques with a strong portfolio of completed styles. Knowledge of hair extensions, color theory, and various styling methods including straight razor cuts and barbering skills. Familiarity with salon software systems such as

MINDBODY

for appointment booking and client management. Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members. Ability to perform additional beauty services like makeup application or nail care is a plus.
