Salon Assistant

The Role You're not just fetching towels. You're the backbone of our operation and the first person our clients meet. As a Salon Assistant at Love Lane, you'll support our stylists, keep our space running like a well-oiled machine, and start building the skills you need to become the stylist you want to be. We're a 20-person team in Downtown Jersey City that takes hair seriously and doesn't take ourselves too seriously. You'll work alongside experienced stylists who actually want to mentor and train you, not use you. What You'll Do Shampoo, blow-dry, gloss, and style hair Keep stations clean, tools sanitized, and the salon organized Greet clients and make them feel comfortable from the moment they walk in Support the front desk when needed: check-ins, check-outs, rebooking Help with content: behind-the-scenes reels, before/afters, team moments Attend education sessions and team meetings Take initiative and help where needed.
