The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our stylists and ensuring a welcoming environment for our clients. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about the beauty industry, looking to gain hands-on experience while enhancing their skills in customer service and salon operations. Duties Assist stylists with shampooing, conditioning, and applying treatments. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of salon tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and ensuring a positive salon experience. Support retail sales by promoting hair care products and assisting clients with their selections. Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling client check-ins and check-outs. Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient salon atmosphere. Stay updated on current trends in cosmetology, color theory, hair extensions, and other relevant techniques. Requirements A background in cosmetology or related field is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients. Experience in retail sales is advantageous for promoting salon products effectively. Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain hygiene standards within the salon. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Previous experience in front desk operations is beneficial. Cosmetology License or Cosmetology Permit preferred buy not mandatory.
