Job Description
Position Overview We are looking for a talented, motivated Stylist/Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled professional with advanced technical expertise and a strong, loyal client base. They demonstrate exceptional talent, professional maturity, and the ability to deliver consistently outstanding results while upholding the Copacabana Beauty Center standard of excellence. Key Responsibilities Provide advanced hair services including precision cutting, custom coloring, balayage, foiling, styling, blowouts, and specialty treatments Conduct thorough consultations to understand client goals and recommend the best techniques and products Manage a full and consistent client schedule with punctuality and professionalism Deliver exceptional service that promotes client retention, referrals, and rebooking Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of your station and shared salon areas Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and product knowledge through continuous education Support junior stylists and assistants with guidance, mentorship, and teamwork Uphold all salon policies, safety standards, and professional expectations Promote retail products through personalized recommendations to enhance client results Collaborate with the front desk team to ensure smooth operations and excellent client experience Qualifications Valid NJ Cosmetology or Barber License (required) Minimum 3 years of professional salon experience, with a stable client base Advanced technical skills, including cutting, coloring, and styling mastery Demonstrated proficiency in specialty services (balayage, foil work, curly hair shaping, Brazilian treatments, etc.) Strong communication, customer service, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth Benefits & Growth Opportunities At Copacabana Beauty Center, we believe in growing together .
