& have previous barber employment• someone with a following in Westchester county area is a plus, with established customers is great opportunity in our brand new barbershop We are located in a nice neighborhood • We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair cutting and styling, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. Duties Perform haircuts, shaves, and grooming services using various techniques and tools, including straight razors. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend styles that suit their needs. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and the overall barbershop environment. Stay updated on current trends in hairstyles and grooming techniques to provide the best service possible. Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and meet retail sales goals. Assist in mentoring junior barbers or apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge in the field. Manage inventory of supplies and products used in the barbershop to ensure availability for services. Skills Proficient in retail math to manage sales transactions effectively. Strong mentoring abilities to guide less experienced staff members. Experience in store management practices is a plus. Excellent upselling skills to promote additional services and products effectively. Strong retail sales experience to contribute positively to shop performance. Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all aspects of work.
