The right candidate will be driven, analytical, and enjoy working on a fast-paced team in a manufacturing or construction environment. If you have construction, fabrication, or machinery skills to build, seam, and frame large panels for our customers, this position is for you! This is a great company, family owned. You will work on a team while using power tools and custom machinery to build, frame, and seam large foam panels. You will use a tape measure, read customer blueprints, and be working in a manufacturing environment. Hourly pay depending on experience is between $19.00 and $23.00 an hour. Essential Duties Measure, review, and layout materials per the order specifications. Set up tooling, equipment, and machinery and make any necessary changes. Change out tooling when necessary. Inspect and examine production panels to ensure the quality of material meets our customer's requirements. Required Skills Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Strong mechanical background. Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints. Ability to safely operate a forklift and an overhead crane. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Ability to lift 30 - 75 pounds occasionally. Squatting, kneeling, and standing frequently. This position is exposed to dust/dirt frequently and fumes, vapors and mists occasionally. This position is in a manufacturing environment with tow motor traffic, loud noises, and frequent priority changes. This is a 6:00 am - 2:30 pm positions Monday through Friday with occasional overtime when required. All backgrounds will be reviewed! If you have these skills and are interested.
