In this dynamic role, you will deliver engaging classroom instruction, demonstrate advanced cosmetology techniques, and guide students through comprehensive training in various beauty disciplines. Your expertise will help shape skilled practitioners ready to excel in the beauty industry, fostering a positive learning environment that promotes creativity, technical mastery, and professional growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the next generation of cosmetologists while honing your teaching skills. Duties Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans covering core cosmetology topics such as hair styling, coloring, cutting, nail care and esthetic treatments. Demonstrate practical skills in the basics and advanced techniques. Instruct students on the basics and advanced techniques. Assess student performance through evaluations, practical demonstrations, and written tests to ensure mastery of skills. Provide personalized feedback and mentorship to support individual student progress and confidence. Maintain a safe and hygienic classroom/clinic environment adhering to industry standards and regulations. Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques. Experience Proven classroom experience as a cosmetology instructor with a strong background in cosmetology. Extensive hands-on expertise in cosmetology disciplines including hair styling, coloring, nail care, facials, body waxing, and esthetic treatments. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to cosmetology procedures. Familiarity with adult education principles and lesson planning to create engaging learning experiences for diverse student populations. Licensure in cosmetology as required by local regulatory bodies. Must have Advanced Cosmetology License and Cosmetology Instructors License. Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to motivate and inspire students toward professional excellence.
