The ideal candidate is skilled in hair services, provides excellent customer service, stays current on beauty trends, and thrives in a positive team environment. This role is perfect for someone who is right out of beauty school to someone with years of experience and is still growing their clientele. We are also looking for booth renter. We are looking for someone dependable, and committed to helping clients look and feel their best. Responsibilities Deliver a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions, silk pressing, curly hair styling using advanced techniques such as balayage or ombre. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Use salon software such as Rosy to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to client preferences, offering professional advice on styles and products, and upselling retail items like hair care products. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, managing wait times, and ensuring smooth salon operations. Mentor junior staff members or apprentices by sharing techniques in hair styling, or color theory to foster team growth. Qualifications Valid cosmetology license with comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and practices. Proven experience in customer service and hair styling. Professional appearance and positive attitude Familiarity with salon management software like Rosy for appointment booking and retail tracking. Social media presence or marketing experience is a plus Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members while providing personalized recommendations. Knowledge of sanitation procedures to uphold health standards within the salon environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if needed. Retail math skills for upselling products confidently without compromising client trust.
