Provide expert barbering services such as straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic cuts. Offer additional beauty treatments like eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools and workstations following health regulations. Use salon software systems like

to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently. Engage with clients through excellent communication skills to understand their needs and recommend suitable services or products. Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling tools, and cosmetics to boost sales while ensuring client satisfaction. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling inquiries professionally. Mentor junior staff members or apprentices to promote skill development within the team. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and grooming products to deliver innovative services. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and grooming techniques. Proficiency in using salon software like

MINDBODY

for appointment scheduling and client management. Knowledge of color theory for custom color formulations and corrective coloring. Skilled in applying hair extensions and performing hair threading for diverse client needs. Experience with sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients. Familiarity with retail sales strategies including upselling and retail math calculations. Ability to perform makeup application and nail care treatments as needed. Knowledge of store management principles is a plus for those interested in leadership roles.
