Duties Manage your own booth within the salon, providing a variety of beauty services including hair styling, coloring, extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading. Utilize salon software such as

MINDBODY

to schedule appointments, process payments, and maintain client records efficiently. Offer expert consultations on color theory and hair care to tailor services that meet individual client needs. Perform specialized techniques such as straight razor shaves and advanced hair extensions to enhance client satisfaction. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in your workspace, adhering to all health regulations and sanitation protocols. Engage in retail sales by recommending and upselling hair products, skincare items, and accessories to boost revenue. Provide excellent customer service through clear communication skills, active listening, and personalized attention to each client's preferences. Stay current with industry trends by participating in mentoring sessions, continuing education on new techniques like eyelash extensions and nail care. Assist with front desk duties when needed, including greeting clients and managing appointment flow seamlessly. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and hair extensions. Proficiency in salon software such as

for scheduling and retail management. Strong knowledge of color theory, sanitation standards, and advanced styling techniques including straight razor shaving. Experience with eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients. Demonstrated ability in retail sales and upselling to maximize client satisfaction and revenue. Store management skills or experience are a plus for those interested in expanding their professional scope.
