Overview:

Stilleaux Spa & Salon is seeking a motivated and career-driven Salon Assistant who is passionate about the beauty industry and ready to grow into a licensed professional. This role is designed for individuals who want more than just a job — it's a pathway to building your own clientele, brand, and long-term career within a supportive salon environment. This is a hybrid opportunity , offering a combination of commission-based earnings and booth rental independence , allowing you to grow at your own pace while maximizing your income potential. You will receive hands-on mentorship , but must come in with a strong foundation and willingness to actively learn and apply knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist stylists and beauty professionals with daily salon operations Prepare workstations, sanitize tools, and maintain a clean, professional environment Support client services including shampooing, blow-drying, and basic treatments (where permitted) Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive client experience Manage appointment flow and assist with client coordination as needed Promote salon services and contribute to social media/content efforts (optional but encouraged) Gradually build and manage your own clientele

Growth & Mentorship:

Direct mentorship and guidance toward obtaining your professional license Hands-on training within a real salon environment Support in building your personal brand and clientele Opportunity to transition into a fully independent beauty professional Compensation Structure (Hybrid Model): Earn commission on services performed Keep your earnings from clients you personally bring in Opportunity to transition into booth rental as your clientele grows Flexible earning potential based on performance, skill, and independence

Ideal Candidate:

Aspiring beauty professional (cosmetology student or planning to enroll) Must be knowledgeable in salon services and industry basics Must be willing to learn, take direction, and grow under mentorship Strong work ethic and professional attitude Reliable, client-focused, and detail-oriented Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in building a personal brand

Requirements:
