The ideal candidate is passionate about men's grooming, delivers exceptional customer service, and takes pride in providing high-quality barbering services. As a Barber, you will help create a welcoming and professional atmosphere while building lasting relationships with clients. This is a paid position offering opportunities for growth, continued education, and career advancement within a dynamic barbershop environment. Responsibilities Perform professional barbering services including haircuts, fades, tapers, beard trims, line-ups, hot towel treatments, and straight razor shaves. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend styles that complement their appearance and lifestyle. Provide hair coloring, gray blending, beard coloring, and enhancement services when requested. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety for all tools, equipment, and workstations. Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a friendly and welcoming experience for every client. Promote and recommend grooming products to clients based on their individual needs. Manage appointments, client records, and payments using barbershop scheduling software. Assist with front desk duties, including greeting clients, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments. Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and grooming products through ongoing education and training. Support a positive team environment and mentor junior barbers when needed. Qualifications & Skills Previous barbering experience preferred. Valid Barber License (if required by state regulations). Strong skills in fades, tapers, beard grooming, straight razor shaving, and modern men's haircutting techniques. Experience with hair coloring and enhancement services. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Strong understanding of sanitation and safety procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with appointment scheduling and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
