Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced hairdresser for our Salon in an assisted living and memory care facility. The ideal candidate would be warm, kind, patient, and experienced in cutting, coloring and styling older adults' hair. This position will be part time 1-2 days a week for salon hours at 2 adjacent facilities. Responsibilities Provide professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing services tailored to each client's preferences and features. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to health regulations. Advise clients on hair care and upkeep with styling and upkeeping their style. Adhere to facility safety regulations and maintain compliance in sanitation and practice standards in accordance with DPH regulations. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in styling and cutting older adults hair. Proficiency in hair coloring techniques appropriate for older adults. Ability to work independently and manage time well. Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
