Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and talented Hairstylist/Cosmetologist to join our vibrant salon team! In this energetic role, you will bring your passion for beauty and your expertise in hair, skincare, and grooming to help clients look and feel their best. As a key member of our team, you'll deliver exceptional customer service, craft personalized styling solutions, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps clients coming back. Your enthusiasm for the latest trends and techniques will drive your success as you transform everyday looks into stunning works of art. Duties Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, coloring, highlights, and special occasion styles Perform advanced services such as hair extensions, coloring services, and hair treatment services Use salon software systems like Boulevard for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing retail sales Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations Offer expert advice on hair care products and retail items through upselling techniques to boost sales Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling client inquiries Adhere to cleaning and sanitation guidelines per stateboard Skills Knowledge of hair styling techniques and current trends in beauty industry practices Proficiency in using salon software such as Boulevard for appointment booking and client management Strong understanding of color theory for precise coloring services and corrective treatments Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build lasting client relationships Ability to perform makeup application and special occasion hairstyles for events and wedding bookings Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Store management experience is a plus for overseeing daily operations when necessary Effective retail sales skills with an aptitude for retail math and upselling strategies to increase revenue Strong communication skills for mentoring team members and collaborating with colleagues This is a commission based pay with commission on products. Paid trainings and quarterly team events are also provided!
