This is a highly selective process which will allow you to work and use AVEDA products, work with an AVEDA clientele, and most importantly, work in an AVEDA studio that has been highly curated and delivers a quiet studio atmosphere for you and your guests. Responsibilities Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client's unique needs, utilizing strong knowledge of color theory and current trends. Use salon software like Boulevard for your ownappointment scheduling andclient management Engage clients through excellent customer service by listening attentively, offering professional advice, and having the ability to work with AVEDA hair color and all AVEDA products. Team members in the cooperative receive significant personal discounts for AVEDA retail products (up to 80 percent) Opportunity to Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques and strategies to foster a collaborative learning environment. Support AVEDA store retail team mate by learning, using and recommending AVEDA vegan products. Ability to learn and train with AVEDA, in classes, in salon, and with our owner who is a master colorist and stylist. We learn from each other here. Strong understanding of color theory for flawless coloring results; experience with balayage or foil techniques Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and team members; ability to clearly explain treatments and product recommendations Skilled in sanitation practices necessary for maintaining a safe salon environment; working in a neat and clean manner in collaboration with other team members Managing yourself and mastering your business behind the chair while fostering a positive team atmosphere

Pay:

$50.00 - $100.00 per hour
