In this role, you will provide exceptional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services to our diverse clientele. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity while ensuring that each client leaves feeling confident and satisfied. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Duties Perform haircuts, shaves, and styling services for clients according to their preferences and current trends. Provide additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application as needed. Engage with clients to understand their needs and offer personalized recommendations for hair care products and services. Mentor junior staff members by sharing knowledge and techniques in barbering and cosmetology. Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client records management, and inventory tracking. Promote salon services through upselling techniques while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff. Experience Proven experience in barbering or cosmetology with a valid license in the state of practice. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in providing additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, nail care, or makeup application is a plus. Familiarity with salon software systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to stay updated on current trends and techniques.
