The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting stylists and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our clients. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about the beauty industry and eager to learn more about hair care and salon operations. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and assist them with their needs upon arrival. Perform shampooing, conditioning, and rinsing of clients' hair as directed by stylists. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shampoo area and salon, including sanitizing tools and equipment. Assist with the application of hair treatments and scalp massages. Support stylists with hair extensions, color application, and other services as needed. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth salon operations. Stay informed about current trends in cosmetology, color theory, and retail math to enhance service delivery. Qualifications Previous experience in a salon or beauty environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of barbering techniques, hair extensions, and nail care is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for the beauty industry and a willingness to learn new skills related to cosmetology. Must be able to sanitize tools properly and adhere to health and safety regulations.
