In this role, you will deliver comprehensive training in various cosmetology disciplines, including hair styling, coloring, nail care, esthetic treatments, and barbering. Your expertise will help students develop both technical skills and industry knowledge, preparing them for successful careers in the beauty industry. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of cosmetologists through engaging lessons and hands-on training. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans covering a wide range of cosmetology topics such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, facials, makeup application, body waxing, and dermabrasion Demonstrate technical skills in hair styling, coloring, threading, esthetic laser treatments, and nail care to ensure students gain practical experience Incorporate adult education principles to create an inclusive learning environment that caters to diverse student needs Assess student progress through evaluations, practical demonstrations, and written assessments to ensure mastery of skills Maintain a safe classroom environment by adhering to health and safety regulations related to aesthetic treatments and cosmetology practices Stay current with industry trends and advancements in areas like trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and aesthetic treatments to provide up-to-date instruction Support students in lesson planning and skill development for licensing exams or certification requirements Experience Proven classroom experience as a cosmetology instructor or trainer with a strong background in cosmetology or esthetics Extensive hands-on experience with hair styling, coloring techniques, hair extensions, barbering, facials, makeup application, nail care, and body waxing Knowledge of anatomy relevant to aesthetic treatments and massage therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage Familiarity with advanced aesthetic procedures including dermabrasion and laser treatments Ability to effectively teach adult learners using engaging instructional methods and lesson planning skills Certification or licensure in cosmetology or esthetics is highly preferred; ongoing professional development in areas like eyelash extensions or aesthetic laser treatment is advantageous Join us to inspire future beauty professionals by sharing your expertise in a vibrant learning environment!
