What You'll Do:

Responsibilities of the Cosmetology Instructor include, but are not limited to: Provide leadership for the night program, ensuring a consistent, high-quality student experience and supporting student success throughout all phases of the program. Deliver hands-on, skills-based training that creates an engaging and dynamic learning environment, preparing students for real-world success. Develop and maintain lesson plans for both classroom instruction and practical lab activities. Supervise and mentor students on the practical floor, ensuring a supportive and professional learning atmosphere. Assess student progress through written, oral, and hands-on performance evaluations. Foster a student-centered learning environment that promotes professionalism and prepares students for industry readiness. Inspect and maintain equipment daily, addressing safety concerns and ensuring proper maintenance. Accurately track and maintain student records, including attendance, performance, and progress reports. Successful candidates will have:

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

At least three years of industry experience is required; prior teaching experience is preferred.

Certifications:

Graduation from an accredited Cosmetology School or apprenticeship and a valid Utah State Cosmetology Instructor's License.

Organizational Abilities:

Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and organization to efficiently manage classroom and practical training responsibilities. Attention to
