Bridgewater Retirement Community is currently seeking outstanding and energetic Licensed Hairstylist to join our team!

Tuesday-Thursday 9am-4pm Everyday our work is resident focused, and our goal is to build relationships that lead to the best quality of life possible for our residents and our team members. Essential Functions Coordinate with residents, families, and other clients to schedule and deliver personalized salon services Perform haircuts, coloring, perms, and other requested services to meet client satisfaction Follow hygiene standards, ensuring air is thoroughly rinsed and products are applied properly Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, including sweeping hair after each cut and sanitizing tool Assist with client transportation to/from the salon when necessary Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair care and styling Ensure tools are sterilized and ready for use each day; manage soiled towels and laundry Resolve client concerns with tact and professionalism to ensure a positive experience Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds Frequent hand exposure to water Assist residents with mobility (e.g., pushing wheelchairs) High standard of personal appearance and hygiene Entry Requirements High school graduate, GED required Virgina State Cosmetology License At least one year of salon experience (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Word or Excel
