As a skilled professional, you will showcase your expertise in hair styling, coloring, and grooming while providing exceptional customer service. Your passion for hair artistry and dedication to sanitation and safety will help create a welcoming environment where clients feel confident and cared for. This role offers an exciting opportunity to mentor junior stylists, master advanced techniques, and contribute to a vibrant salon community committed to excellence. Responsibilities Cutting , trimming and styling hair Shaving and trimming beards and mustaches Consulting with clients about their desired hairstyle Hair washing Keeping tools clean and sanitized Maintaining clean workstation and shop area Scheduling appointments and assisting walk in customers Recommending hair and beard care products Following heath safety and sanitation regulation providing good customer service and creating welcoming experience. Requirements A valid barber license (required in most U.S. states, including Virginia) Knowledge of haircutting, shaving, beard grooming, and styling techniques Understanding of sanitation and safety procedures Good customer service and communication skills Ability to stand for long periods Ability to use barber tools safely (clippers, trimmers, razors, scissors) Professional appearance and reliability Time-management and appointment-scheduling skills Grow your career through mentoring others while delivering outstanding results that keep clients coming back.
