for appointment scheduling and client management Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas in accordance with health regulations Manage retail sales by upselling hair care products, accessories, and styling tools Provide expert advice on hair care routines, color theory applications, and product usage Assist with front desk responsibilities including client check-in/out and appointment confirmations Mentor junior stylists or apprentices to foster professional growth within the team Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and product innovations through ongoing education Skills Extensive experience with natural hair styling techniques such as braiding, twisting, locs, and threading Proficiency in salon software systems like FRESHA for scheduling and client records management Strong knowledge of color theory, sanitation practices, and cosmetology/barbering standards Skilled in the use of tools such as straight razors and other styling equipment Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Ability to perform retail sales with effective upselling strategies while maintaining excellent customer service Competence in makeup application and nail care services is a plus for providing comprehensive beauty solutions Experience with store management or front desk operations is desirable but not required Knowledge of retail math for inventory management and sales tracking Join our team to elevate your career as a Natural Hair Stylist by delivering personalized services that celebrate natural beauty while fostering lasting client relationships.
