Duties This is a part-time contract role, to train two students in hair coloring, female hair cut, esthetic treatments and body waxing Assess student progress through evaluations, practical exams, and feedback sessions to ensure mastery of cosmetology skills Maintain a safe and hygienic classroom environment adhering to industry regulations and health standards Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques such as aesthetic laser treatments and trigger point therapy into curriculum Facilitate classroom discussions, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive activities to promote active learning Support students in developing professional portfolios and preparing for licensing examinations Skills Extensive knowledge of cosmetology disciplines including hair coloring, styling, threading, nail care, facials, makeup application, and barbering Strong teaching abilities with experience in adult education and lesson planning tailored to diverse learning styles Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and provide constructive feedback Ability to demonstrate technical procedures with precision and confidence in a classroom setting Knowledge of anatomy relevant to cosmetology practices such as trigger point therapy and body treatments Familiarity with safety protocols related to esthetic laser treatments, body waxing, and other specialized services Join us as a Cosmetology Instructor and make a lasting impact by nurturing talented students into confident professionals!
