You will support stylists by managing daily operations, assisting clients, and ensuring the salon runs smoothly. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to an exceptional customer experience and the overall success of our salon. We welcome both part-time and full-time applicants, as well as student interns; however, working on Saturdays is strictly mandatory (except in emergency situations). Key Responsibilities Greet clients warmly, assist with check-out processes, and ensure a friendly atmosphere from start to finish Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and common areas regularly to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Support stylists with mixing color, prep work, and organization Prepare clients for services (e.g. draping, shampooing, and applying basic treatments). Assist with front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, answering inquiries, and managing client records

Qualifications:

Current Cosmetology student, internship seeker, or newly licensed Cosmetologist preferred (but not required) Previous experience or training in cosmetology or barbering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills; ability to multitask efficiently in a lively environment Must be reliable and able to work on

Saturdays Compensation & Benefits:

Starting Wage :

WA State Minimum Wage ($17.13/hr) for the first 3 months followed by a guaranteed wage increase after the initial 3-month period

Performance-Based Adjustments:

Wages may be further adjusted or increased based on individual skills, experience, and performance

100% of any tips received directly from customers are yours to keep
