Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed Cosmetologist/Hair Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong background in self management. This is not an assistant position and the person we seek should be able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform hairstyling, cutting, and coloring services according to client preferences. Assist clients in selecting appropriate beauty products for their needs Educate clients on proper haircare techniques Maintain a clean and organized work station Manage inventory of beauty products and supplies Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques Invest time in education Maintain a cleanly workspace throughout the salon

Qualifications:

Valid Washington State Cosmetology or Hair Designer license Previous experience working as a Cosmetologist preferred Strong knowledge of front desk operations and customer service skills Ideally strong with haircutting, especially short women's cuts Experience with store management is a plus Excellence communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Creative thinker with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
