As a Hair Braider, you will bring your passion for braiding and creativity to craft beautiful, intricate braids and hairstyles that leave clients feeling confident and radiant. Your expertise will help elevate our salon's reputation for exceptional service and style. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills, grow professionally, and build lasting relationships with clients in a lively, supportive environment. Responsibilities Create a variety of braiding styles, including cornrows, feed in braids, and box braids. Assist clients with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to enhance their overall look Provide professional hair styling, coloring advice based on color theory, and makeup application to complement hairstyles Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and products in accordance with salon regulations Use salon software such as ZENOTI for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to client needs, offering expert recommendations, and upselling retail products like hair care items or nail care products Support front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and assisting with store management tasks as needed Mentor junior team members in hairstyling techniques, sanitation practices, and customer service excellence Experience Proven experience in hair braiding techniques with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse styles Knowledge of hair extensions application and maintenance procedures Background in cosmetology or barbering with valid licensing or certification preferred Experience in retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities Strong communication skills for engaging clients effectively and building rapport Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols within a professional salon environment Join us if you're passionate about transforming hair into works of art while delivering exceptional client experiences!
