Your role will also involve utilizing salon software for scheduling and managing appointments, as well as contributing to retail sales within the salon. Responsibilities Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions. Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure a welcoming environment for clients. Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling and client management. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations. Assist with retail sales by promoting products that complement the services provided. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques to enhance service offerings. Skills Proficient in cosmetology practices and knowledgeable in color theory. Experience with salon software systems like SalonBiz is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Retail sales experience is a plus, enhancing product recommendations during consultations. Familiarity with hair threading techniques and hair extensions application is advantageous but not required. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Organizational skills to manage appointments and maintain salon operations efficiently.
