Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Certified Medical Assistant specializing in Medical Spa services! In this vibrant role, you will be the cornerstone of exceptional patient care, blending clinical expertise with a passion for aesthetic treatments. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including gathering medical histories and documenting chief complaints with enthusiasm and professionalism Handle patient phone calls/text and other CRM system to assist in scheduling appointments. Take professional before and after photos. Apply topical numbing anesthetic cream to patient after rooming them. Assist providers during aesthetic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each treatment. Support medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, and managing patient flow with precision Educate patients on post-treatment care, skincare routines, and medication instructions to promote optimal results Maintain a clean, organized treatment area adhering to strict safety and infection control protocols Demonstrate knowledge of dermatology, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to effectively support clinical operations in a medical spa setting. Activate and perform class II devices with proper guidelines and protocols. Communicate in writing and verbally for notes regarding treatments/patients. Confirm treatment/service checkouts on EHR and update based on visits. Qualifications Valid certification as a Medical Assistant with current credentials recognized in the industry Experience working in dermatology clinics or medical spas is highly preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and medication administration such as semaglutide, tirzepatide and other peptide injection subcutaneously. Proven ability to support patient care with great customer service Excellent patient service skills with a friendly demeanor and active listening abilities Ability to operate EHR systems efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications related to hospital or trauma center experience are beneficial Embark on a rewarding career where your clinical skills meet your passion for helping others look and feel their best!
