Full Job Description Established cosmetic surgery practice seeking a medical assistant who truly has compassion for patients and enjoys the Aesthetics field. The ideal candidate must have prior medical assistant experience, great organizational skills, self-motivated and desire to learn. Medical assistant positions available for the Medical Spa and/or Operating Suite.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting providers with treating and managing patients (eg. preparing patients; recording medications/vitals; taking photos; preparing rooms and supplies; performing minor procedures) Prepare treatment rooms with necessary equipment and supplies before each procedure. Perform basic clinical tasks such as applying topical anesthetics, cleansing treatment areas, and assisting with photography and documentation for patient records. Providing patient support (eg. checking-in on patients; scheduling procedures) Managing patient and work flow (eg. checking patients in/out, rooming patients, scheduling appointments, collecting payments) Managing supplies, equipment, and facility Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times. Proactively improving performance by providing feedback to management. Participate in ongoing training and stay current with the latest medical spa treatments and products. Team player, willingness to help out other co-workers and do whatever it takes for a successful work day even if it's outside your job description. Requirements • 2+ years of demonstrated success in a certified medical assistant . Prior experience in Plastic Surgery, or a similar role in Dermatology or a Medical Spa a plus! •Bilingual - Spanish speaking
