Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Licensed or Certified Electrologist to join our growing team. As an Electrologist, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective hair removal treatments using galvanic, blend and thermolysis modalities. If you have a passion for helping clients achieve smooth and hair-free skin, we would love to hear from you.Duties:
- Perform safe and efficient Electrolysis treatments to permanently remove unwanted hair from the face and body, based on each individuals needs.
- Conduct in depth one on one client consultations to educate clients as well as answer any questions that they may have regarding what Electrolysis is, how Electrolysis works, what to expect during and after treatment, and confidently be able to put together an Electrolysis treatment plan.
- Assess client's hair growth patterns and determine the appropriate treatment modality.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized treatment environment.
- Educate clients on pre
- and post-treatment care.
- Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques.
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and skills:- Valid Electrologist license/certification from another state (Electrology is not a licensed profession in Colorado).
- Proficiency in all Electrolysis modalities including galvanic, blend and thermolysis.
- Knowledge of advanced skin treatments, body waxing, Botox/filler, esthetic laser treatment, and laser hair reduction is a plus. This allows you to educate clients on other beauty modalities within the field, as well as provide referrals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision, as well as stay organized and allocate time effectively.
