If you're passionate about hair care, eager to learn new techniques such as hair extensions and eyelash extensions, and thrive on providing top-notch customer service, this is the perfect role for you! Duties Assist senior stylists with hair styling, blowouts, and hair treatments to ensure smooth salon operations. Support with hair coloring processes, including mixing dyes based on color theory principles and client preferences. Prepare styling tools and products, maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the salon. Manage front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments via salon software like MINDBODY, and handling client check-ins. Promote retail sales by recommending hair care products, nail care items, makeup products, and upselling services like eyelash extensions or nail treatments. Assist with specialized services including hair threading and straight razor shaves under supervision. Maintain organized workstations, monitor inventory levels for retail products, and assist in store management tasks when needed. Support mentoring of new team members by sharing knowledge on salon procedures and customer service excellence. Ensure compliance with sanitation standards to promote a safe environment for clients and staff. Experience Previous experience in a salon or barbering environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Knowledge of hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and makeup application is a plus. Familiarity with salon software systems such as

MINDBODY

enhances efficiency but can be learned on the job. Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members. Basic understanding of retail math for upselling products confidently. Certification in cosmetology or barbering is highly desirable; ongoing training in hair styling techniques is encouraged.
