Job Summary Experienced Dog Groomer (Full-Time) Pup Kuts LLC - Marietta, GA Pup Kuts is a busy, home-based, cage-free grooming salon in East Marietta, GA. We are currently booked solid with a waitlist. We specialize in high-quality, stress-free grooming for doodles, poodles, and "poo" mixes, and we are ready to add an experienced groomer who wants a calm environment, great clients, and serious earning potential. Full benefits:
medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and PTO. Monday-Friday schedule, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM - no evenings, no weekends, no major holidays. Fully equipped professional salon in a finished, separate-entrance basement: tables, tub, dryers, shampoos, conditioners, tools, and utilities provided. About the Role You'll be a full-service groomer, responsible for: Providing full grooms and mini-grooms: baths, haircuts, styling, nail trims, sanitary and hygiene work, paw/ear care, and de-shedding. Following each client's style preferences while using your own professional techniques to achieve safe, beautiful results. Handling dogs kindly and confidently, with a strong emphasis on safety, humane treatment, and low-stress handling. Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary grooming area between appointments and at the end of each day. Communicating clearly and professionally with pet parents and the salon owner about style, coat condition, and any concerns. You'll primarily work on doodles, poodles, and poo mixes (Cavapoo, Maltipoo, Cockapoo, Goldendoodle, etc.), so strong scissoring and breed-specific skills are important.
Compensation & Schedule Commission:
50% of grooming revenue for every dog you groom.
Tips:
You keep 100% of your tips.
Pay cadence:
Biweekly, based on an agreed-upon earnings record.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (no guaranteed minimum hours, but demand is strong and the calendar is consistently full). What Pup Kuts Provides Fully equipped, professional grooming setup with a separate entrance at the owner's home in Marietta.
All major equipment and supplies:
tables, tub, dryers, shampoos, conditioners, tools, and utilities.
Steady stream of clients:
booking, confirmations, and client communication are handled by the owner so you can focus on grooming. Supportive, family-run, woman- and minority-owned business with plans to grow into a premier multi-location salon. What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of professional grooming experience in a salon environment (independent or corporate). Ability to complete full grooms independently at a professional standard, with excellent scissoring and finishing skills. Strong experience with poodles, doodles, and "poo" mixes. Confident, safe dog handling and a commitment to gentle, humane treatment. Reliable, punctual, and well-organized, with good time management and the ability to stay on schedule. Comfortable communicating with clients and collaborating with the salon owner.
Bonus:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
