Full Job Description Description:
New England Dermatology & Laser Center has been providing dermatology care to the greater Springfield community for over 70 years. We are growing and looking for an experienced Patient Services Associate, Spa with a conscientious work ethic to join our busy aesthetics specialty practice. Heavy patient interaction in-person and over the phone. Primary duties include facilitating a positive patient office experience and supporting clinical teams, ensuring that patient information is up to date, updating the database to be current, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments within established guidelines, documenting medical questions for disposition by MD or PA, balancing daily receipts, miscellaneous clerical duties and other related tasks.

1 position M-F 7:45a-1pm (26.25 hours per week) 1 position MWF 12p-5p/TuTh 12p-6p (27 hours per week) Day shift No weekends Work setting: In-person The regular work location is our aesthetics office Springfield This position reports to the aesthetics manager

Requirements:
Professionalism, courtesy, patience, accuracy, keen attention to detail, good judgment & follow-through, verbal & written communication skills, ability to multi-task and perform mathematical calculations and make change, proficiency with electronic health record and Microsoft Office software programs. Overtime and scheduling flexibility may be required to accommodate operational needs. Ability to cross-cover strongly preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Prior customer service experience preferred.
