Part Time Admission and Event Coordinator Assistant at Summit Barber Academy Company Description Summit Barber Academy https://www.summitbarberacademyaurora.com Role Description We are seeking an Admissions and Event Coordinator Assistant to join our team! This person will be responsible for scheduling and leading tours and enrollment management; consisting of entering students into all school platforms including CRM and ordering their barbering kits & curriculum prior to their start date. Manage and run orientation programs for staff and students. Networking with area salons/barbershops for demonstrations and job placement. Staff and student communications via phone, text or email. Create and maintain school culture. Customer Service with clients if necessary. Marketing and communication for school. Poised and professional demeanor via personality and dress. Owner's right hand for details, communication, event planning, deadlines, etc. Manage google and fuse school calendars. Orate and assist in planning all school meetings. Assist in scheduling of all student, admin and staff meetings. Prospect new hire candidates and conduct initial interviews for SBA staffing. Represent SBA to Southlands Mall and communicate opportunities and plan events to team up with them several times a year. Create marketing materials for special events, contests and special offerings, Represent SBA to Summit Business national leadership and Pivot Point national leadership. Act as project manager for addition of new programs and procedures. Represent SBA to product companies to assist in product placement and educational opportunities. Partner with HR to navigate VA Loans qualifications and Accreditation for Federal Aid qualifications. Plan and conduct all in-house events including but not limited to; graduations, contests, holiday celebrations, birthday recognition. Conducting new student orientation classes alongside Administrative Assistant. This position will be a part of the team to assist in preparation of facility for educational inspections. This person will work closely alongside HR and the Administrative Assistant and report directly to the owner/director.
