Job Description
The Assistant General Manager role is a General Manager in training. The Assistant General Manager role mirrors that of the General Manager, responsible for stepping into the General Manager position whenever the General Manager is not on duty. Assistant Manager should demonstrate a passion for the industry and desire to grow into the General Manager role. Woodhouse is unique in the Greenville market because we concentrate on delivering exceptional spa services in a one-of-a-kind environment that will REFRESH our visitors inside and out. Guests come in to forget about the outside world and RENEW their spirits—and it's our goal to always deliver. The Assistant General Manager must be able to multi-task and should take "ownership" of the spas operations. Experience in guest relations with massage, esthetics, salon or hotel management is necessary. As An Assistant Spa General Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Manage the daily operations of the spa Make sure both the guests and team members are scheduled efficiently and effectively Coach and develop team members Lead management team Prepare payroll reports for processing Maximize inventory for professional and retail use Prepare purchase and receiving orders for back bar and retail inventory Recruit, Hire and train new team members Think outside of the box and creating solutions for non-written practices as they arise Understand step by step protocols and ensure treatment/ service protocols are followed Manage front of house and back of house time management Ensure all front office procedures are adhered to Develop detailed and organized strategies and goals Host routine team huddles, meetings and trainings Host hospitality trainings and ensure standards are met Ensure training for new hires and existing is completed in a timely manner Inspect front desk, boutique, locker rooms and quiet rooms ensuring they meet standards at all times Ensure laundry services are completed Oversee marketing initiatives Manage employee call-outs or day of scheduling challenges Ensure the organization and presentation standards for retail inventory are adhered to Ensure guest service standards are upheld daily Handle and resolve any dissatisfied guests Ensure quality control standards are upheld daily Ensure the safety of guests and team members by adhering to the Safety and Security Policy Prepare for onsite inspections Perform duties of spa coordinator and or spa concierge when needed Protect The Woodhouse brand Educate guests on spa services and retail products Ensure proper lighting, music, cleanliness and aromatherapy as set forth in the Ambiance Standards Abide by all protocols set forth by

Administrative, organizational, communications, and troubleshooting skills Capacity to respond and listen effectively Flexibility to adapt to changing needs Competency to use our software systems and tools to maximize spa performance Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at the same time An astute attention for detail, always ensuring the spa is tidy and all staff have instructions and guidance for the day Ability to effectively manage shifts and prioritize tasks Ability to break down high-level initiatives into actionable, manageable tasks for the team to ensure successful execution and achievement of goal Work Remotely This is a full-time in spa role Additional hours outside of work may be needed to plan, organize, find coverage for call offs, adjust schedules and any other admin tasks that are due.Job Type:
