We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and experienced Beautician to provide salon services to residents of our assisted living community. This is an independent contractor opportunity for a self-employed beautician who will lease the on-site salon space either through a flat monthly rental fee or a commission-based agreement based on service sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide haircuts, shampooing, coloring, styling, and grooming services tailored to senior clientele Offer additional beauty services such as manicures, basic skincare, and other wellness-related grooming as appropriate Maintain a clean, welcoming, and hygienic salon environment in compliance with state and local health regulations Build positive and trusting relationships with residents through attentive, respectful service Schedule and manage your own appointments with residents, while coordinating with the community staff when needed Keep accurate records of services provided for billing and reporting Handle your own payment collection and bookkeeping (unless otherwise arranged through commission agreement) Adhere to all community guidelines, policies, and safety procedures

Qualifications:

Valid state cosmetology license Previous experience working with seniors is highly preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Self-motivated, reliable, and organized Professional liability insurance required Background check clearance may be required by the community

Compensation Structure:

This position is self-employed and operates under one of the following rental agreements: Option 1: Flat Monthly Rental Fee Pay a set monthly rate to lease the salon space Keep 100% of your service revenue Option 2: Commission-Based Agreement No monthly rental fee Pay a percentage of total monthly service sales to the community Specific terms to be discussed and agreed upon prior to the start of service.
