Our luxury boutique spa in The Nations is hiring for one part-time position working 20-25 hour hours per week, including evenings. This is a multi-faceted (hourly plus retail commission) client-facing position with reception, customer service, sales, and some spa attendant duties. All candidates should possess a polished appearance, positive energy, great communication skills, an excellent customer service attitude, and experience with an upscale clientele.

Qualifications:

A minimum of one-year salon, spa, hospitality, or luxury services experience is preferred. Prior knowledge and working experience with salon/spa booking software a plus. Strong interest in beauty, fashion, and a polished presentation are required. Retail merchandising experience preferred to assist with buying, displays, and inventory. Strong communications, interpersonal, computer, and phone skills. Excellent attention to customer service. Pleasant and positive energy. The ability to excel in a team environment. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Organization and follow-through. Honesty, integrity, dependability.

Job Description:

Consistently provide the highest possible standard of guest services. Greeting guests, providing set up of robes and slippers when needed Maintaining locker room, snacks, and beverages. Assist estheticians and massage therapists with transactions, rebooking their guests for future appointments. Ensure pre-selling, up-selling and cross-selling of services to each and every guest. Relay with confidence both product and service benefits to guests and assist with closing of retail sales. Answer phones, schedule appointments. Sales focused. Set and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals. Build lasting relationships with boutique customers and spa clients. Develop a comprehensive level of product and spa service knowledge and successfully translate this to clients. Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor. Ensure all guest challenges are resolved in a timely manner and management is made aware of situation. Actively maintain the store appearance including, but not limited to, keeping products neatly organized and attractively displayed, dust and clean shelves regularly, arranging products to always maintain an attractive, visual presentation Operate a computerized point of sale cash register and inventory management system; including the accurate entering of sales information; receiving payment for products; processing credit card transactions; making correct change; processing refunds, exchanges; issuing gift cards and store credits. Reconcile daily sales and prepare deposits and end of day reports for management. Consistently maintain upbeat energy and pace in the boutique and spa. Moderate cleaning and laundry duties. Tidying of all public areas throughout the day, as well as restrooms and locker room. Maintain laundry for spa throughout the day. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion,including utilizing telephone/computer for an extended period or for an entire shift. Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
