HR Job Summary:
The Spa Attendant supports daily spa operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational efficiency and enhancing the overall guest experience through attention to detail and consistent service support.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Assist with treatment room setup, ensuring all areas are properly prepared for scheduled services. Manage laundry operations, including washing, folding, and restocking linens, robes, and towels. Maintain cleanliness and organization of locker rooms, relaxation areas, and back-of-house spa spaces. Restock supplies, amenities, and operational materials throughout the day to support service delivery. Support therapists and spa team members with operational needs to ensure efficient workflow. Provide courteous assistance to guests within spa and locker room areas. Monitor guest areas to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment at all times. Support opening and closing procedures to ensure operational readiness. Identify and report maintenance or supply needs to leadership in a timely manner. Follow all company standards, safety protocols, and cleanliness guidelines. Maintain organization of storage areas and ensure proper inventory levels of supplies. Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
Prior experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or service support roles preferred. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and team members. Strong time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to reliability. Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
Work Environment:
Spa environment with frequent movement between guest-facing and back-of-house areas. Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting items such as linens and supplies. May involve exposure to varying temperatures and humidity levels typical of spa environments. Schedule will vary based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Regular use of cleaning equipment, laundry machines, and basic operational tools.
