Part Time (15 hours/week) Consistent scheduling Must be available nights and weekends The Role We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a barbershop Operations Assistant. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth operation of the barbershop. This position requires availability to work evenings and weekends. If you love meeting people in your community and checking them in and out of a high-quality and relaxing, one-of-a-kind experience, this job is for you! What You'll Do Greet and welcome clients as they arrive at the barbershop Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our booking system Provide information to clients regarding services, pricing, and availability Maintain a clean and organized reception area Sweep and tidy up the barbershop floor regularly Fold and organize towels and other linens Assist barbers with any administrative tasks as needed Handle cash and process payments accurately Manage inventory of retail products and restock as necessary Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations What We're Looking For Passion for making people's days! Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Proficient in using computer systems and booking software Flexibility to work evenings and weekends Who We Are Diesel Barbershop isn't your typical barbershop — we're busier, louder, and built around team culture.
