Job Description

Company Overview Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center is dedicated to providing quality healthcare within a compassionate, homelike environment. With over 85 years of service, our facility specializes in serving individuals with diverse needs, including the elderly, developmentally disabled, and those requiring specialized rehabilitation services. Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Licensed Beautician to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional beauty and wellness services in a supportive environment. Duties
  • Provide hair cutting/styling services to facility residents
  • Provide services as requested including, perms, hair sets, styles and cuts, color, waxing, etc.
  • Ensure residents with scheduled appointments are serviced promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of residents and services provided
  • Supply a weekly list to resident accounts to ensure proper billing (identify each resident, the service provided and date of service)
  • Keep beauty salon clean, and maintain pleasant environment for residents
  • Follow Infection Control policies and procedures according to State and Federal regulations
  • Sanitize equipment in accordance with regulations
  • Maintain positive communication with residents, families and staff
  • Schedule appointments ensuring the date/time is convenient for residents, involved staff and/or family's
  • Communicate with family members; carry out wishes (to the best of ability) ensuring satisfied clients/customers
  • Promptly contact nursing staff to report any bodily injuries (cuts, bruises, etc.) or changes in resident behaviors
  • Maintain a pleasant and cooperative working environment
  • Provide services as requested and in accordance with currently approved and accepted methods and practices
  • Interact appropriately with people who have physical, emotional and social disabilities
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers
  • Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible Qualifications Advanced training in Cosmetology; cosmetology and management licenses required.
Bi-annual recertification and continuing education through the state also required. Certified Nursing Assistant license preferred.
Pay:
$23.23 - $29.90 per hour
