IMG Academy Golf Club Position Summary:

Responsible for delivering excellent customer service while driving sales and maintaining operational excellence in the golf pro shop.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner Process sales transactions accurately, including processing payments, and completing settlement documentation Maintain high standards for customer service, sales performance, and sales floor presentation Utilize effective selling techniques to maximize sales and enhance the guest experience Assist with merchandising execution to optimize product presentation, sales, and customer satisfaction Support the development and upkeep of floor standards, visual merchandising, customer service practices, and sales techniques Keep the selling area clean, organized, and fully stocked Recommend items and quantities for product reorders based on sales trends and inventory levels Assist with inventory management and receiving new merchandise Assist with coordinating and promoting special events, tournaments, and member programs Maintain knowledge of current promotions, pricing, and golf industry trends Handle customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary Support basic golf course maintenance and cleaning as needed Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused mindset Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of merchandising principles or willingness to learn Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and team members

Bilingual Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes up to 40lbs. Ability to operate a golf cart safely across varied terrain and weather conditions Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and sun exposure Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed to perform job duties Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed
