2026 Temporary Summer Laundry and Uniform Staff

Dates of Commitment:

Group 1: March 1st - August; Group 2: Mid-May through August 3 and Group 3: Mid-June - August 3 (A few employees may be asked to continue to work through mid-September.) Timing is approximate. The Laundry and Uniform Departments will be hiring several summer temporary employees to work during our summer camp. Hired employees will be required to work during camper registration and will be assigned various duties during their summer employment. Below you will see the responsibilities and requirements.

REGULAR HOURS OF WORK

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Except for camper registration weekend.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Laundry and Uniform Department is responsible for selling uniforms and other Culver wear, heat sealing names on the items, fitting the uniforms for the campers, performing alterations, receiving camper and staff dirty laundry, laundering, folding, and returning items to the cabins for the campers and staff.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be willing to work as part of a team by helping coworkers to improve workflow and customer service, must be able to lift 25 to 40 pounds and, have the stamina to stand for long periods, must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be 14 years old and a current student or possess a high school diploma/HSE. Employees may use our on-site Fitness Center, have one FREE meal during the workday, and receive a discount at the Campus Store and at the Uniform Shop.
