Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pro Shop Associate at Rolling Meadows Golf course to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and retail, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide an exceptional experience. As a pro-Shop Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. Previous experience at a Golf facility is a big plus. We encourage school and college students or seniors to apply. Liquor permit required. Previous experience at Golf course is a plus!!! Duties Assist customers with product selection and inquiries, providing knowledgeable recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed. Process transactions accurately using retail math skills, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently. Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience. Utilize effective phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries. Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies. Clean and maintain carts, and the facility. Qualifications Previous experience at a golf facility or retail sales is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Basic math skills, including familiarity with retail math concepts, are essential for accurate transactions. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse customers. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in the store.
